  • The Spruce Burger ($18) has a great, thick, grass-fed patty with perfect texture and a fresh yet subtle taste. It relies on tomatoes, onions, mustard, and greens for flavor - a healthy/minimalist palette may appreciate this, though to me it was a bit lacking (adding bacon may help). The bun texture is quite dense when eaten, leading to the bread taste being borderline overpowering. The seasoned fries are ok, but thicker than I prefer. A good, healthy-tasting burger, but a bit on the plain side.
