Berg's Burger

Berg's Burger offers a plethora of burger choices in both small and Bergs size options. The basic 'The Berg' burger ($9.50 / $11.50) comes with a prime beef patty, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, aioli, and Berg's sauce, while a Miss Piggy ($12 / $14.50) adds on streaky bacon and edam cheese. Those looking for something more adventurous can try out the Porto Polo (spicy Portuguese Marinaded chicken), Tofu Krakatoa, Good Falla Falafel, or a number of other unique flavours one wouldn't expect in a burger.

You can top up an additional $4 to get a side of chips and your choice of ice lemon tea or lemonade - bringing the total to $15-20 for a full meal.

Berg's Burger has outlets at Far East Square (137 Amoy Street #01-01), 45 East Coast Road, 10 Haji Lane, and 3 Canton Street (Boat Quay, Mogambo Bar & Restaurant).

  • I was little disappointed with this one - fine if you need a bite on the move but nothing more

  • I've been to their Haji Lane branch a couple of times for a quick lunch time burger. They have a wide selection of gourmet burgers and I've tried both their Berg with Cheese, and their Miss Piggy. While both burgers satisfied my craving each time, I was not hugely impressed with the quality of their meat although I enjoyed their Berg's Sauce. I like the concept but have seen it done much better elsewhere.

  • Berg's Burger has a lot of interesting options for burger fanatics, though I typically stick with the Miss Piggy (bacon cheeseburger) with fries and a lemonade ($20 NETT). The burgers are large and will fill you up, though as you can see the patties aren't necessarily thick nor juicy. Maybe its just me but something about the meat texture makes it feel a bit rubbery/stringy, but thankfully its not dry nor tough either. Nevertheless, Berg's is a decent choice to satisfy your burger craving.
